We also ate at Sizzler, and the filet mignon was out of this world!!! We didn’t eat at Umi as I’m allergic to shellfish (they do other food, but similar to what is at The Reef). The staff go out of their way to make sure everyone is well fed and watered. There’s a small selection, but something for everyone, even vegan options. The WiFi is free, but only really works well by the driftwood cafe, at the end of the Reef bar. Clean, tidy, big TV, mini fridge, safe, shower with white company toiletries and nice toilet paper!! Water and tea/coffee were supplied but the tap water is drinkable in Barbados so we didn’t need too much. Our room faced the sea and was beautiful.
We arrived at the hotel and were handed a rum punch (word if warning, go easy on these to start!), and a complimentary room upgrade.
It’s a 20 minute drive from the airport and 10 mins from Bridgetown.
We’ve just returned from an amazing 10 days at Sugar Bay.
